April 10, 2007 - Spring Break and Easter!

I haven't progressed much on the room remodeling as we took a week and headed south for Spring Break!!! We stayed at the Siesta Sands Beach Resort on Siesta Key (very near Sarasota) and the weather was beautiful - mid 80's during the day and mid 60's at night. We got in some quality beach time (99% pure-quartz sand), lots of pool time (Will's preference), and saw some very large sea turtles at the Mote Aquarium. The only downside to Spring Break was returning to over a foot of snow... and more is on the way! I guess that's Northern Michigan for you....
We also had a very enjoyable Easter as Will got to eat his first Jelly Beans and a yellow Peep. He and I even colored eggs and made a quick video, which you can see below!
