Happy Halloween!

I just received a handful of Halloween pictures from my sister Stephanie showing off my adorable nieces and nephew as they Trick or Treated in Wabash this year - Isaac was Flash, Elise was a kitten, Isabel was a doctor, and Maggie was a nurse! Oh yeah... and that's my hottie wife in her "skeleton" shirt for school on Friday!

As for Jess and I, we spent Halloween at some friends' house on 7th street - they had rented a cotton candy machine! And we weren't disappointed either... the lines were long, the kids eager, and cotton candy flowing! What a hoot!

October 30, 2004 - Mr Pumpkin Head!

Mr Pumpkin Head!

Jess and I read about "Mr. Pumpkin Head" in the October issue of Traverse Magazine. He lives in Frankfort( about 45 minutes from us ), takes the week of Halloween off from work, and proceeds to carve 400+ pound pumpkins into unbelievable works of art! So.... tonight we decided to trek over to Frankfort and see this for ourselves!

It took about 45 minutes to get there and these things were unreal! There were about 12 ginormous pumpkins set out around their front yard and about half of them were carved. The Cinderella carriage pumpkin was my favorite!
