December 3, 2004 - Thunder Snow Follow-Up
We didn't get squat! I would take a picture, but it isn't even worth the time.
On an entirely different thought, I woke up this morning with that Mr. Roger's song in my head that goes like...
"It's such a good feeling, a feeling to know that I'll be back... when the day is new... and I'll have more ideas for you. And you'll have things you'll want to talk about. And... I... will... too."
Not sure why it's rollin around in my melon this morning, but I have to admit, I don't mind it today! Thunder Snow or not!

December 2, 2004 - Thunder Snow?!

The weather forecasts have been predicting an Alberta clipper all day long, so we were/are expecting at least a little bit of snow tonight. In my excitement, I snapped the above picture simply because I thought it was pretty.
Later in the evening though, Jess and I started hearing what sounded like thunder we started seeing what looked like lightening?! A weather report popped up on TV shortly afterwards saying that "Thunder Snow" was likely in the area and that heavier amounts of accumulation may be expected! Thunder snows are apparently fairly rare and are usually associated only with larger storms! I am guessing that we still aren't going to get much snow tonight (it never seems like we get the really big storms, but you never know! I will post a quick follow-up in the morning!
